Aluminium sliding doors in South Woodford

Around South Woodford you will mostly find Edwardian terraces, 1930s semis, detached homes and newer flats. In Victorian side-return extensions, a two or three-panel sliding door gives wide views while staying practical in narrow gardens where swinging doors would get in the way.

For 1930s semis with rear extensions, sliding doors keep sightlines clean across the garden and avoid bifold panel stacks taking up patio space. Larger detached homes can use multi-panel sliding doors across wide rear openings, but structural steelwork and drainage need careful planning before installation.

Noise is the thing most people mention: the North Circular, Charlie Brown's Roundabout and the start of the M11 are all close. Thicker laminated acoustic units cut that hum noticeably. At roughly 3.1 miles, a quick run along the A406 from our factory, we are easy to reach for aftercare.

Sliding patio doors use large glass panels that glide along a track, opening up a rear wall without taking any space inside or out. Made with slim aluminium frames, they suit kitchen extensions, living rooms and modern homes where owners want maximum glass, views and daylight.
