Aluminium sliding doors in Woodford Green

The housing in Woodford Green is largely Victorian and Edwardian villas, 1930s detached houses and mansion-style flats. In Victorian side-return extensions, a two or three-panel sliding door gives wide views while staying practical in narrow gardens where swinging doors would get in the way.

For 1930s semis with rear extensions, sliding doors keep sightlines clean across the garden and avoid bifold panel stacks taking up patio space. Larger detached homes can use multi-panel sliding doors across wide rear openings, but structural steelwork and drainage need careful planning before installation.

Woodford Green has a conservation area around the green, managed by Redbridge Council, and we check what applies before quoting. Homes near the A104 or the A406 benefit from acoustic glazing. We travel about 2.7 miles from our Edmonton factory.

Sliding patio doors use large glass panels that glide along a track, opening up a rear wall without taking any space inside or out. Made with slim aluminium frames, they suit kitchen extensions, living rooms and modern homes where owners want maximum glass, views and daylight.
