Flush windows in Chigwell

Homes in Chigwell are mostly large detached houses, executive homes and 1930s semis. Cottages and larger detached homes often suit flush windows in cream or woodgrain finishes, which soften the frame and sit well against brick, stone or render.

On 1930s bays, flush casements with slim mullions can reflect the original metal or timber windows more closely than chunky storm-style frames. In conservation areas, a flush window in a woodgrain finish can come closer to original joinery than standard uPVC, although council approval may still be needed.

Big glass panels are heavy, and long drives or side access can be awkward, so delivery and lifting are planned properly at the survey rather than on the day. Many owners also prefer one company for windows, doors and the roof together, which is how we work: the same team surveys, makes and fits. Chigwell is about 5 miles from Edmonton.

Flush windows have opening sashes that sit level with the outer frame, recreating the look of traditional timber casements. Made in our own factory, they suit homeowners who want a heritage or contemporary appearance with the low maintenance of a modern frame, especially on period homes and stylish renovations.
