Aluminium bifold doors in Woodford

Around Woodford you will mostly find Victorian and Edwardian villas, roomy 1930s semis and some mansion flats. On Victorian side-return extensions, a three-panel bifold with a traffic door works well, giving everyday access without folding back the whole set.

Bifolds suit ground-floor flats and maisonettes with gardens, but check the lease and get freeholder approval, as alterations to external walls are often restricted. 1930s semis with full-width rear extensions suit four or five-panel bifolds, but allow enough patio space for where the panels stack when fully open.

For the older villas we can make sash windows or flush casements with period-style bars, and composite doors with decorative glass. Parts of Woodford are covered by conservation area controls, so we talk to Redbridge Council before quoting where needed. Our factory is about 3 miles away, which makes it easy to bring samples to your home.

Bifold doors are made of several panels that fold and stack neatly to one side, opening almost the full width of a wall to the garden. With slim aluminium frames, they suit kitchen extensions, garden rooms and homes where owners want a seamless link between indoor and outdoor living.
