Glass & mirror designs in Walthamstow Village

Around Walthamstow Village you will mostly find Victorian terraces with sash windows and a few much older buildings. Narrow Victorian hallways and small bathrooms benefit from large made-to-measure mirrors, which reflect light and make tight spaces feel noticeably wider.

Larger homes can use full-height mirrors in dressing rooms, gyms and hallways, where precise measuring around skirting, sockets and switches gives a built-in finish. In period homes, fix mirrors with care for original plaster, cornicing and panelling, using appropriate fixings so historic surfaces are not damaged unnecessarily.

The Village is a conservation area, so Waltham Forest Council expects changes to front windows and doors to suit the historic style. We check the guidance and, where needed, help with the planning side before work begins. The streets are narrow and parking is tight, so we plan fitting days carefully.

We make and fit bespoke glass and mirror designs, from bathroom mirrors and splashbacks to glass panels and feature glass for homes and businesses. Cut to measure, they suit renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants and retail spaces where precise sizing, safety glass and a clean finish matter.
