Buckhurst Hill is a hillside town on the edge of Epping Forest. Victorian villas line some of the older roads, but much of it is inter-war and post-war semis and detached homes, along with newer flats near Queen's Road and the Central line station.
Forest-edge houses face damp, shade and falling leaves, so well-sealed frames and good drainage are worth having. Large rear gardens make French and bi-fold doors a popular upgrade. IG9 is about 3.8 miles from our Edmonton workshop.
