From Lea Bridge up to Springfield Park, Clapton is mainly Victorian terraces and mansion blocks, many converted into flats. Clapton Square, in Lower Clapton, is a conservation area with some earlier Georgian houses.
Lea Bridge Road and Upper Clapton Road carry buses and lorries, so double glazing with acoustic laminated glass can make a clear difference to sleep. Where flats share a front entrance, a solid composite door is a common upgrade. We are only about three miles up the Lea Valley in Edmonton.
