Glass & mirror designs for Wormley homes

Homes in Wormley are mostly interwar and post-war semis, bungalows, cottages and newer cul-de-sac houses. In 1930s homes, Art Deco shaped or bevelled mirrors can suit the era, and replacing dated tiles with a glass splashback is a quick kitchen refresh.

Modern bathrooms and kitchens suit frameless mirrors and coloured glass splashbacks, which are easy to wipe clean and keep surfaces looking seamless. Larger homes can use full-height mirrors in dressing rooms, gyms and hallways, where precise measuring around skirting, sockets and switches gives a built-in finish.

We are about 8.5 miles away, straight up the A10 from Edmonton. Older properties near the church may be listed or within a conservation area, so we check with Broxbourne Borough Council where needed. Bungalows here also suit tilt-and-turn and casement windows.

We make and fit bespoke glass and mirror designs, from bathroom mirrors and splashbacks to glass panels and feature glass for homes and businesses. Cut to measure, they suit renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants and retail spaces where precise sizing, safety glass and a clean finish matter.

Questions from Wormley

Do I need planning permission for glass & mirror designs in Wormley?

Most replacements in Wormley need no permission, but some older buildings may be listed or in conservation areas, so we check with Broxbourne Borough Council before quoting. Internal glass and mirrors do not usually need planning permission or Building Regulations approval, though glass in critical locations, such as low-level panels or areas near doors, must be safety glass.

How soon can you fit glass & mirror designs in Wormley?

Lead times vary by product and workload — confirmed with your quote. Being about 8.5 miles from our factory makes surveys, fitting days and aftercare visits easy to arrange.

Is a glass splashback practical in a kitchen?

Yes. Toughened glass splashbacks wipe clean easily, have no grout lines to trap dirt and suit most kitchen layouts. Check your hob manufacturer's guidance on clearance distances, particularly for gas hobs, before finalising the design for your Wormley kitchen.

Can I see samples before I decide?

Yes. Our showroom is at Unit G, 1 Anthony Way, London N18 3QT (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm), about 8.5 miles from Wormley. We can also bring samples to your home in Wormley at the free survey.
