Glass & mirror designs in South Kensington

Homes in South Kensington are mostly stucco terraces, red-brick mansion blocks and converted period flats. Narrow Victorian hallways and small bathrooms benefit from large made-to-measure mirrors, which reflect light and make tight spaces feel noticeably wider.

In flats, measure stairs, corridors and lifts before ordering large mirrors or glass panels, as oversized pieces may need to be made in sections. In period homes, fix mirrors with care for original plaster, cornicing and panelling, using appropriate fixings so historic surfaces are not damaged unnecessarily.

Where a building is listed, or the freeholder insists on keeping the original sashes, secondary glazing fitted inside the existing frames is usually the sensible answer, and it also helps with noise from Cromwell Road. We talk to managing agents about access, consent and parking bay suspensions before we fix a fitting date.

We make and fit bespoke glass and mirror designs, from bathroom mirrors and splashbacks to glass panels and feature glass for homes and businesses. Cut to measure, they suit renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants and retail spaces where precise sizing, safety glass and a clean finish matter.

• Cut and finished to exact measurements
