Aluminium shopfronts in Shoreditch

The housing in Shoreditch is largely warehouse conversions, Georgian terraces and modern apartment blocks. In conservation areas, councils often publish shopfront design guides covering materials, colours and signage, so check these before choosing frame profiles and finishes.

Modern retail units suit full-height glazing with slim aluminium sections and a level threshold that makes the entrance easier for wheelchair and buggy users. For landlords letting retail units, a durable aluminium shopfront in a neutral colour suits a range of tenants and reduces the need for changes between lettings.

Noise is a real issue here, from Old Street and Great Eastern Street traffic to late-night bars, so we often recommend acoustic glazing for bedrooms. Access is the other challenge: parking is very limited, and many jobs are in shared buildings, so we arrange delivery times, loading and building management approval well before we arrive.

We design, manufacture and install aluminium shopfronts for shops, cafés, restaurants, offices and salons, combining large glazed areas with strong, slim frames. They suit businesses opening new premises or replacing tired frontages, and landlords wanting a durable, low-maintenance front that displays goods and interiors clearly.

• Large glass areas to display products
• Strong, low-maintenance aluminium frames
• Secure locking with safety glass options
