Windows for Brookmans Park’s homes
Out past the M25 in Hertfordshire, Brookmans Park is a village that grew up around its railway station from the late 1920s onward. Most homes are detached or semi-detached houses on generous plots, a lot of them extended or remodelled over the years. That usually means a mix of window styles on one house, and owners often want to bring everything into line, from the front windows to wide rear patio doors.
Larger houses and gardens suit bifold and sliding doors, and conservatory roof replacements are a common request. The village is surrounded by green belt, which matters for bigger extensions though not for like-for-like windows. We are about 10.5 miles from our Edmonton factory, a short drive up the A10 and M25 or through Potters Bar.
Do I need planning permission in Brookmans Park?
Like-for-like windows rarely need consent, but Brookmans Park is surrounded by green belt, so for porches or larger changes we check with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council before quoting.
