uPVC doors near you

uPVC doors are a practical, low-maintenance choice for front, back and side entrances, with multi-point locks and insulated panels. We make them to measure in our own factory, and they suit homeowners and landlords wanting a secure, weather-tight door that is easy to look after and good value.

FAQs

uPVC doors: your questions

Are uPVC doors secure?

Modern uPVC doors use multi-point locking, which secures the door at several points along the frame, along with reinforced frames, and can be fitted with anti-snap cylinders. Good fitting matters as much as the hardware, which is why we measure and install each door ourselves.

What is the difference between uPVC and composite doors?

A uPVC door has a uPVC frame with an insulated panel, while a composite door has a thicker, solid core with a tough outer skin. Composite doors feel heavier and look more like timber; uPVC doors are lighter and usually lower cost. Both are low maintenance.

Can I have a cat flap fitted in a uPVC door?

Usually, yes, depending on the door design. Cat flaps are typically fitted into the panel or a glazed section rather than the frame. Let us know when you order a door for your London home, as it is easier to plan for a pet flap at the manufacturing stage.
