Aluminium shopfronts in Walthamstow

The housing in Walthamstow is largely Victorian and Edwardian terraces, Warner flats and 1930s houses. Shops in converted Victorian terraces often have historic pilasters and fascias, and keeping those features while replacing the glazed frames can help with planning.

For shops below flats, coordinate shopfront works with the freeholder and residents, particularly where the frontage includes or protects a shared residential entrance. Parades from the 1920s and 1930s often have consistent frontage designs, so matching neighbouring proportions and transom heights helps a new shopfront sit comfortably.

Around the Village, Orford Road and Lloyd Park the terraces keep much of their Victorian detail, and Waltham Forest has conservation areas where window styles matter. Elsewhere, kitchen extensions with bifold or sliding doors and new front doors with stained-glass style panels are the jobs we are asked about most.

We design, manufacture and install aluminium shopfronts for shops, cafés, restaurants, offices and salons, combining large glazed areas with strong, slim frames. They suit businesses opening new premises or replacing tired frontages, and landlords wanting a durable, low-maintenance front that displays goods and interiors clearly.

• Large glass areas to display products
• Strong, low-maintenance aluminium frames
