Aluminium windows in Southgate

Around Southgate you will mostly find 1930s semis, Victorian villas, mansion flats and detached family houses. Many 1930s homes originally had Crittall-style steel windows, and slim aluminium frames with glazing bars can reflect that look with far better insulation.

On Victorian and Edwardian homes, aluminium windows work well in rear extensions, where slim frames tie in neatly with matching aluminium sliding or bifold doors. Where original steel windows survive in a conservation area, discuss slim aluminium replacements with the council early, as matching sightlines strongly affects whether they are acceptable.

We are a short drive away in Edmonton, so the team that makes your frames can survey and fit them quickly.

Aluminium windows use strong, slim frames that let more glass and daylight into a room, with powder-coated finishes in a wide range of colours. They suit modern homes, extensions and renovations, and owners of older properties wanting slim sightlines that echo original steel windows.

• Durable powder-coated colour finishes
• Thermally broken frames for better insulation
• Strong enough for large glazed openings
