Aluminium sliding doors in Meridian Water

Around Meridian Water you will mostly find new-build apartment blocks plus nearby Victorian terraces and post-war houses. Modern homes and new builds suit wide sliding doors in grey or black, and choosing a low threshold helps link the kitchen floor with the patio.

In Victorian side-return extensions, a two or three-panel sliding door gives wide views while staying practical in narrow gardens where swinging doors would get in the way. Sliding doors suit flats opening onto balconies or terraces because they do not swing, but check freeholder consent and drainage at the threshold first.

At about half a mile from our workshop, a survey can often be booked within days. For flats, we help you get freeholder or managing-agent consent before anything is ordered.

Sliding patio doors use large glass panels that glide along a track, opening up a rear wall without taking any space inside or out. Made with slim aluminium frames, they suit kitchen extensions, living rooms and modern homes where owners want maximum glass, views and daylight.

• Large panes with slim aluminium frames
• Slides open without swinging into rooms
• Low threshold options for easier access
